Therapy For Teens
in Los Angeles
I help teens build the skills to navigate challenges, express themselves more openly, and feel more confident in what lies ahead.
The teenage years are full of change. Whether they're navigating friendships, self-esteem, social media, body image, family changes like a parents’ divorce, starting a new school, or simply trying to figure out who they are, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed without knowing how to talk about it.
Therapy offers a space where teens can feel understood without judgment, build the tools to navigate life's challenges, and grow into themselves with greater confidence.
Growing up isn't easy, and neither is parenting a teenager. Therapy offers a supportive space where teens can feel heard, understood, and accepted while building the confidence and skills they'll carry with them long after therapy ends.
When helpful, I also offer parent check-ins to help bridge communication and provide guidance, while making sure your teen continues to have a space that feels safe and their own.
You don't have to figure this out alone.
For the Teen Who Feels Like No One Really Gets It
Sound Familiar?
They seem more withdrawn, irritable, or overwhelmed than usual. They shut down easily.Friendships suddenly feel complicated or exhausting.School pressure feels impossible to escape.Their confidence isn't what it used to be.They struggle to express what they're feeling, even when they want to.They're constantly comparing themselves to others online.Big life changes have left them feeling uncertain or disconnected. They insist they're "fine," but you can tell something feels different.
How Can Therapy Help?
Many teens carry a lot without knowing how to put it into words. Instead, those emotions can show up as withdrawal, anxiety, irritability, perfectionism, or shutting down.
Therapy offers a space where they don't have to have everything figured out. Together, we'll build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen communication, and help them feel more confident navigating friendships, family relationships, school, and whatever comes next.
My goal is to help teens leave therapy feeling more understood, more resilient, and more equipped to handle life's challenges.
